Marking a major milestone in the process of bringing recently, celebrating the official sod-turning of our very first park. It’s a big step forward for the whole neighbourhood.
Set against the newly excavated backdrop of the park site, the event brought together the Novm team, builders and landscapers, Michael McCabe – Council’s Director of Communities and Place, who spoke at the event alongside Novm CEO Adrian Liaw – and members of the community.
It was great to gather together with the people helping shape this community – not just with plans, but with shovels, spirit, and shared vision.
After the sod-turn ceremony, guests gathered at the Sales & Information Centre to enjoy fresh coffee, sweet treats, and a sneak peek at the park’s plans, which include timber play equipment, walking and cycling paths, landscaped gardens, and shaded picnic areas, all spread across more than 8,000 square metres – that’s nearly 2 acres!
For the team at Novm and Ashbourne, this milestone represents more than just the beginning of construction. It’s the first physical step in delivering the green, connected lifestyle that continues to draw so many to the Moss Vale community in the first place.
We’d like to extend a warm thank you to all who joined us on site, whether you’ve already bought at Ashbourne or are simply excited to see what’s taking shape. Your presence made this celebration even more special.
This new park is expected to open to public in Q1 2026, and we can’t wait to see it become a place for play, connection and everyday moments – not just for Ashbourne residents, but for the broader Moss Vale community.
Here’s to the first of many milestones at Ashbourne and a future filled with green space, great neighbours, and lasting memories.
